Cherine Chalaby serves as Managing Partner of Accenture Technology Ventures European Operations. Cherine has been involved in all the European investments made by Accenture Technology Ventures. He currently serves as a director on the board of one Accenture Technology Ventures portfolio company: iHilal Holdings Ltd. In addition, he serves on the boards for two of Accenture's affiliated companies: e-peopleserve Limited and Imagine Broadband Limited.

Cherine Chalaby is a member of the Accenture Technology Ventures Board and the Accenture Global Leadership Council. Prior to joining Accenture Technology Ventures, he was the Worldwide Managing Partner of Accenture's Capital Markets practice. He joined the firm in 1977 and became a Partner in 1987. During his career with Accenture he worked exclusively in the financial services industry, focusing on investment banks, commercial banks and stock exchanges. His experience includes not only the development of business and IT strategies, but also the successful implementation of these strategies. His portfolio of clients included major financial institutions in the UK and US. Mr Chalaby has travelled extensively and has worked overseas on assignments in New York, Tokyo, Paris, Hong Kong as well as projects in the Middle East and Latin America.

Cherine Chalaby obtained a Master Degree (MSc) in Computing Sciences from Imperial College, London.

He is multilingual and is a keen windsurfer.
