Having played a key role in setting up editorial teams in London, Munich and Paris, Jon Bernstein is responsible for overseeing content across Europe.

Jon Bernstein has been a journalist for more than nine years and joined silicon.com in December 1997 prior to the launch of the site in July 1998. He began his career with stints as staff writer on technology monthlies, PC LAN and Network, before becoming a reporter on PC Week. In 1995 he was invited to become news editor on the launch of weekly Network News where he remained until August 1997 when he was again involved in a launch, this time as editor of monthly, Communications World.

Now a regular industry commentator, his broadcast appearances include BBC News 24, Radio Five Live, Sky News, Bloomberg and CNBC.
