Identity in the Information Society Workshop (IDIS10)

May 26-28, 2010, Rome, Italy

Hotel Victoria Roma

The third IDIS annual workshop provides an opportunity to present leading edge research, exchange ideas, encourage collaboration, and build communities across the various research groups working on contemporary identity topics and in the related fields of privacy and security.

Scope

IDIS10 explores the relationship between “Identity and Organizations”, whether public or private sector, local or global, formal or informal, for-profit or not. We welcome contributions ranging across different disciplinary areas, reflecting the broad nature of the study area with its interwoven concerns of law, technology, and information systems alongside other social, political and management issues.

Topics might include, but are not limited to, the following:

• New identity technologies

• Emerging practices and behaviours enabled with identification processes

• Changing notions of identity: customers, citizens, and audiences

• Information and identity risks and how they are managed

• Surveillance and privacy issues

• Regulatory and legal issues
