The Talkatron Learning Computer was produced by Tiger Electronics, Inc. (1985) (Hong Kong), and sold by Sears, Roebuck & Company of Chicago. The Talkatron was designed for children from kindergarten through 8th grade. The Talkatron could speak 165 different words (more with optional plug-in modules), included an LCD display and ran on batteries.
