Southwest Technical Products Corporation (SwTPC) of San Antonio, Texas produced a variety of microcomputer devices. TVT-II SwTPC introduced the TVT-II computer kit in October 1974. It sold for $180. SwTPC 6800 (Shown here) 1975 The SwTPC 6800 microcomputer was based on the Motorola MC6800 processor and was available in kit form in 1975 for around $450. Several models were available. SwTPC System B The SwTPC System B was a desktop microcomputer with keyboard, CPU, and monitor, with 40K RAM, and a dual floppy disk unit. It sold for about $4,495 (1978). |
